I make Guacamole every summer, it's one of my favorite snacks and you can have it on pretty much anything, my favorite of course has to be my homemade tortilla chips.
Anyways before we get to ingredients these a very flavorful delish guac, I put a lot of garlic so please if it's to garlicy you can use less cloves. The great thing about guac is it can be personalized to your liking. I get a lot of compliments with how I make my mine so I thought I should share.
4 Perfectly ripe Avocados
3-4 cloves (do not refrigerate must be room temperature trust me it makes a difference).
Red onion half and diced
2-3 lemons
1-2 tablespoon olive oil
one tomato diced
handful of cilantro
chili flakes salt pepper to taste
Grab a bowl and begin to smash avocado with a fork I do this so there are still chunks in my guac I don't like it to be perfectly smooth.
Next add your chopped garlic, and red onion with some salt pepper (gradually add salt with the steps, Keep tasting until its to your liking).
Then we add some olive oil and lemon juice, I feel like the olive oil really helps to bring all the flavors in.
And last is the tomato and chopped cilantro, also I don't really like tomatoes so its only very few times I add one in it.
And VOo-ila you have a very tasty flavorful guac, Enjoy!!!
